Dear Parents and Guardians,
Here are a few important notes and reminders.
RE-REGISTRATION AND SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
Once again, we are outpacing last year’s registration by a wide margin. At this time, we have opened seats to new registrants, so we can no longer guarantee seats for returning students. If you are planning to return, please re-register as soon as possible to save a seat for September 2014. To re-register, you must be current with your tuition. As a reminder, the scholarship process is online only this year. You can apply at http://www.mytads.com/fa/futuresineducation.php
If you would like the office to assist you with the application, we are happy to do so. Just give us a call and set up an appointment!
SPRING ACTIVITIES
Next week, we will begin registration for our spring activities. We have already begun registering for our Basketball program, which will now start on Saturday, March 8, and for our martial arts program. Today, we are proud to announce a new partnership with SaReGaMa Desi Beats, a local organization that is offering our students Vocal, Music, and Bollywood Dance lessons at a heavily discounted rate. Registration for these classes begins today!
REPORT CARDS – FRIDAY, MARCH 14
As a reminder, we will be issuing report cards on Friday, March 14. Parents will meet with their child’s homeroom teacher for about five minutes. If you are not current with your tuition, please see Mrs. Bianchi (RB) or Ms. Hinkson (128) before visiting your child’s classroom teacher.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH SHOW AND DINNER TONIGHT!
Our staff and students have been working hard to prepare an educational and entertaining dinner and show that honors the extraordinary legacy of men and women of African descent. The show begins promptly at 7 PM tonight. Tickets are available at the office or at the door for $5. Please join us for this beautiful celebration!
Sincerely in Christ,
Kevin John Coyne Marian Hernandez
