FOLLOWING WEEK - Test on Subject Pronouns November 14th
15/10/2019
In Junior High we move on to conjugation of regular AR verbs in the present tense.
We have discussed infinitives, subject pronouns (both singular and plural), and verb endings.
By the end of the unit, students will be able to conjugate any regular AR Spanish verb in the present tense.
ENDINGS Singular Plural
1st person yo-o nosotros/nosotras –amos
2nd person tú-as Ustedes-an
Usted- a
3rd person él/ella-a ellos/ellas-an
To conjugate hablar, you would remove the infinitive ending to find the radical habl– and then add the appropriate endings:
| HABLAR | Singular | Plural | |||
| 1st person | yo | hablo | nosotros/nosotras | hablamos | |
| 2nd person | tú
Usted |
hablas
