  1. Students are allowed to wear black sneakers. No other colors must be visible.
  2. Mon., Dec. 9th Feast of the Immaculate Conception- school closed.
  3. Our Christmas Show is on Friday, Dec. 13th at 6:30 pm. Tickets are on sale for $10.

Homework Reminders:

Math – Homework is given on a daily basis. All homework assignments are to be completed in pencil. Work should be shown in a neat and organized manner.

 Mathletics must be done every night for at least 15 minutes once usernames and passwords are distributed.

Math State Test Reminder 

  • Review notes daily! Reviewing each topic is a huge help. 
  • YouTube – The channel “Math Antics” is a great tool for students to review different concepts. 
  • EngageNY has previous state tests to look over
  • Review our testing strategies!

Religion- Workbook must be covered in clear contact paper. Students will not be writing inside of the Religion workbook. All workbook question responses must be completed in the Religion notebook using the question/answer method.

  1. We will be celebrating United Nations Day on Fri., October 25th. Students can wear traditional clothing from their heritage countries and bring in items from their country/countries (pictures, musical instruments…etc) to share with the class. 
  2. Start researching a saint for your saint project, due: Wed., 10/30/19.
  3. Memorize the Prayer of St. Francis by 11/1. The oral test will take place this Fri., 10/25.

In your Religion notebook write an essay about “School Rules”. Explain the correct behavior expected in class, during lunch, and at recess. Why are rules important? Name at least 5 consequences for not following school rules. Remember: That you need an introduction and conclusion along with the 3 paragraphs. Be prepared to discuss your essay in class.
