Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is hard to believe that we have only nine days of school left. I want to thank you for the outstanding showing at the CultureFest and the 128th Street Spring Show. The support and enthusiasm are very much appreciated!
For the Spring Show tonight at Rockaway Boulevard, doors will open at 5:30 PM. We will be selling pizza, snacks, and drinks in the auditorium. Students will have the opportunity to get food before they go upstairs. We will also be raffling off the remaining baskets from the CultureFest.
Tonight’s show will begin at 6:30 PM sharp, and there will be no intermission. Students will be dismissed to their parents after the show. The teachers will bring the classes down after the show is complete, with the younger grades coming down first.
Students who performed in the 128th Street show or perform in tonight’s Rockaway Boulevard show may dress down for free on Thursday, June 6 and Friday, June 7. Eighth graders may dress down for free on Monday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 12.
At the CultureFest, we announced the winners of our Spring Raffle:

Thank you for your participation in this important fundraiser. Please remember that fundraising fees were due on May 31, along with all other tuition and fees. If you’re having an issue staying current, please contact your campus office immediately to make arrangements.
Registration for OLCA Summer Brainstorm has begun, and seats are filling up quickly. Due to parent requests, we will have an extended session from 4 PM – 6 PM for a small additional fee.
I’m also happy to announce that our registration for next school years is outpacing last year’s by more than 100 students, and we already have more than 110 new students who will be joining the OLCA family next year. THANK YOU for continuing to spread the good word about our academy. A large majority of our new families were recommended by our current families!
As we finish finals and prepare for graduations and year-end celebrations, I am grateful, as always, for the privilege to serve in such a vibrant, diverse, and loving community. As we continue to grow, the future seems brighter than ever before.
Sincerely in Christ,
Kevin John Coyne
Principal
