Geometry in Life Collage Project

Objective 

The purpose of this project is to help you:

  • Become familiar with various geometric shapes
  • Learn to accurately draw geometric figures and identify each figure by name
  • Find examples of the figures in the real world

Grading Project Grade 30% of your grade (30 points)

Create a poster and make sure to include all of the directions below to receive the best grade possible.

1.Theme /Title– 5 Pts Total

  • Pictures must follow the SAME THEME. (Ex. Sports, food, beauty products…)
    • Title: Sets the theme of the photos. (Be Creative!)
    • Decorate your poster
    • Write your name and grade on the front of your poster
  1. Ten Shapes –1/2 Pt Each ( 5pts)
    • Picture of a real world object that is a geometric figure.
    • You may use magazines, newspaper or the internet.

Name – 1Pt Each (10pts)

    • CORRECT name of the figure, located by the picture.
    • Watch spelling

Drawing – 1Pt Each (10pts)
