Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful Easter Recess. Here are some important updates:
Girl Scouts Meeting
Friday, April 28 – 6 PM – 128th Street Campus
Parent representatives from two Girl Scouts troops will be signing up new members from OLCA on Friday, April 28 at the 128th Street Campus. The meeting begins at 6 PM. We are hoping for a very large turnout! If you are planning on attending, please send in the RSVP sheet that went home with this letter. You can still attend without sending in the sheet, but the responses will help us ensure there are enough snacks and drinks for everyone!
Final Billing Statement
On Monday, May 1, we will send home our final billing statement of the year, which will include all tuition and fees still due. Accounts with a zero balance will not receive a statement, but we will happily provide one upon request.
As a reminder, participation in all graduation and step-up activities requires a zero balance. Also, students may not be re-registered until accounts are in good standing.
Tuesday, April 26: Secretary Appreciation Day
Thursday, April 27: Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon (RB) – 1:30 PM
Friday, April 28: Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon (128) – 2:00 PM
Monday, May 1: Custodian Appreciation Day
Friday, May 5: Nurse Appreciation Day
As our year is drawing to a close, we are preparing our annual appreciation days for members of our community. Please join me in thanking our hardworking staff members, who we will honor at prayers on their celebration days. Also, we look forward to showing our gratitude for our volunteers at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheons. We ask for our volunteers to RSVP at their campus office.
In closing, we wish to congratulate the OLCA students who received their Sacraments of Initiation in recent weeks. In addition to our second grade receiving First Penance, we had several older students baptized into the Catholic Church. We look forward to our third graders receiving their First Communion on Saturday, May 20, where they will also be joined by several older students who have become Catholic this year!
Sincerely in Christ,
Mr. Kevin John Coyne & Mrs. Debra Eisenbraun
